If the remote timer is counting down but the unit does not turn on try the following to resolve the sititutation:

Swap the wires located at positions S3 and N (white and black).

Test for voltage beween the following pairs of wires with the timer in stand-by mode and verify the following readings:

            Red and Black          0V

            Black and White       220V

            Red and White          0V

Failure to read 220V on black and white indicates no power to the timer.

Test for voltage between the following pairs of wires with the timer counting down and verivy the following readings:

            Red and Black          0V

            Black and White       220V

            Red and White          220V

Failure to read 220V on red and white indicates a failure of the timer unit.
